Free Shuttle Bus
International Trails Day is an annual celebration of recreation trails to promote trail development, the use of trails, and the healthy lifestyle they encourage. Saskatoon Cycles, in cooperation with Meewasin Valley Authority, Trans Canada Trails and the Parkland Trails Association invite you to celebrate with us on Saturday, June 1, 2013 by riding your bike from Wanuskewin Park to Friendship Park.
We are offering :
- Bike and chariot shuttle from Kinsmen Park parking lot
(across from the Mendel Art Gallery) - June 1 leaving at 8:30 am.
- Only room for 40 participants to take the Shuttle Bus!
- You need to be on the bus by 8:30 am.
You must pre-register below to have a spot reserved for you on the bus!
We will travel together on the bus to Wanuskewin and all of the bikes and chariots will go in a trailer behind us. After coffee and something to eat, we will have a police escort as we ride our bikes from Penner Road to 71st Street along Wanuskewin Road. Once there we will ride on the MVA/TCT trail all the way to Friendship Park.
The ride will be fairly slow as we are encouraging families with kids, inexperienced riders, etc to take this opportunity to complete the 17 kilometre trip from Wanuskewin to Friendship Park.
